What is the Difference Between Elder Law and Estate Planning?
Crisis Elder Law is legal planning done when a loved one needs long-term care imminently (or within the next 90 days).
Estate Planning is the process of deciding and legally documenting what happens to your assets if you die or become unable to make decisions for yourself.
Often times Crisis Elder Law is needed when an individual no longer has capacity to make estate planning decisions, and is in need of long-term care.
